Tecdraft (Pty) Ltd. has been established in 1980 as a engineering service company to industry and mines and as the representative to the Heuer Hammer Co. / Germany (Manufacturer of winder rope attachments)

The need to manufacture locally the imported equipment lead to the formation of Universal Rope Attachment (Pty) Ltd.  By joining the well established company Vereeniging Universal Engineering (Pty) Ltd.  

Later the fabrication workshop of Ecotec Engineering (Pty) Ltd., under the same directorship was established, creating excellent engineering service facilities.

The implemented quality control procedures and documentation has been accepted by various mining houses

We strive to comply and achieve the ISO-9002 requirements.

Tecdraft (Pty) Ltd. remains the marketing arm of our own manufacturing (fabrication and machining) facilities and has recognized experience with "Koepe Winder" requirements:

• Attachment and brake linkage

• Friction inserts and brake lining

• Sheave wheels and sheave wheel lining

• Winding rope and rope lubrication
